The Goldfish Report is currently published on a bimonthly basis. Each issue contains articles, color and black and white photos, regular columns, event information and advertisements from breeders and suppliers. Articles are also reprinted in exchanges with other clubs' publications, providing a diversity of organizational and geographic views.

The society maintains a complete inventory of back issues and members are able to purchase these for a nominal cost.
The society encourages all members to contribute to the Report, whether an article, photo, travelogue, or quick letter to the editor. Submissions can be directed to .
